I'm an integrative psychotherapist offering a compassionate and confidential space where you can explore the challenges and transitions that life may bring. My approach combines person-centred and psychodynamic modalities, allowing us to work in a way that feels both reflective and practical, tailored to your individual experiences, values, and needs.
Starting therapy can feel daunting particularly when sharing deeply personal or painful thoughts with someone new. I understand that it takes courage to take that first step. That’s why creating an atmosphere of trust, warmth, and psychological safety is at the heart of my work. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, built on genuine connection and mutual respect. Research consistently highlights that the relationship between client and therapist is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes. My priority is to ensure you feel truly heard, accepted, and supported as we explore whatever feels most important to you.
In our sessions, we will focus on your experiences in the here and now — the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours shaping your daily life while also gently uncovering how your past relationships and early experiences may still be influencing the way you see yourself and relate to others. By weaving together these perspectives, we can deepen self-awareness and open up new possibilities for growth and change.
I have experience working with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence issues, loss and bereavement, sexuality, relationship difficulties, and suicidal thoughts. I work with adults of all ages and from diverse backgrounds, and I welcome clients from all walks of life.
Alongside this, I have a particular interest in supporting men as they navigate emotional, relational, and personal challenges. Many men are raised to believe that vulnerability or emotional expression is a sign of weakness, which can lead to feelings of isolation or disconnection. In our work together, I offer a space where you can explore your inner world without judgment to reconnect with yourself, understand your emotional responses, and begin to live in a way that feels more authentic and balanced.
Therapy is not only about alleviating distress but also about deepening understanding of who you are and how you want to live. Whether you are struggling with a specific issue, facing a period of transition, or simply wanting to know yourself better, therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and grow. My aim is to walk alongside you in this process, helping you to make sense of your experiences and move towards greater emotional wellbeing, clarity, and fulfilment.
