Carolina Rosa Astudillo

Psychotherapist & Coach

Therapy In-Person or Online £80

I’m a Humanistic psychotherapist and neurodiversity-affirming life and executive coach. I work with people 18+, face-to-face or online, on an individual level. I work with Axa, Allianz and Aviva. I offer therapy in English and Spanish.

This might be a time when you’re going through life’s ups and downs, or personal challenges. You could be feeling that something is stuck or missing, or that things could be better. Or maybe you want to explore and reflect on experiences or aspects of your life. Know that I understand those experiences deeply, and I can relate to the feelings of being stuck or in search of something more fulfilling. Therapy provides that unique space, focusing entirely on you, your growth, your well-being, and your journey.

I have experience working in the public and private sector, focusing on a wide range of challenges, including overall mental health concerns, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, significant events, family or work conflicts, grief and loss, perinatal emotional challenges, parenting, self-esteem, confidence, and stressors related to neurodiversity.

How I work
The therapeutic approach I practice is rooted in Humanistic psychology, which in a nutshell means that I value and respect your unique circumstances and that I am ready to be real and connect with you, human to human. I offer a holistic approach that considers the connection between mind and body, and I will encourage you to explore your emotions, as well as your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours. And to learn about yourself, and to make your own decisions.
By reflecting on your life experiences, you will learn from the past, accept current challenges, and move forward with intention and compassion. At the right pace for you. I will be there with you, listening, being present, whether you want to make new decisions or just reflect and feel heard and understood.

About me
My cultural background is Spanish. I worked internationally as a software engineer for more than a decade before I found the courage to embark on my own self-development journey, becoming a coach and then a psychotherapist. I have studied, worked, and lived in the Nordics before settling in the UK. I welcome all cultural backgrounds into my therapeutic space.

Qualifications
I hold an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy, Accredited by Middlesex University, London, and a Diploma in Transformational coaching from Animas Centre for Coaching, London.
