Seeking support can feel difficult, but it is a deeply human response to pain, overwhelm, loss, or feeling stuck. Together, we can begin to understand what has been happening for you, explore patterns that may no longer serve you, and create space for healing, self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
I work with a wide range of emotional distress, including trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, bereavement, relationship and family difficulties, addiction, attachment wounds, and psychosexual concerns. I also work with those seeking a therapeutic space to reflect, reconnect, and explore a deeper relationship with joy, meaning, creativity, dreams, spirituality, and personal growth.
We may work with what is happening in the here and now or explore more deeply how past experiences continue to shape your present. Fundamentally, my work centres on your relationship with your mind, body, emotions, other people, wider systems, and the world around you.
I work closely with trauma, addiction, and spirituality (where relevant to you), which are often deeply interconnected. I work in a trauma-informed and integrative way, recognising the impact that past experiences, relationships, and social environments can have on emotional wellbeing, mental health, and the nervous system. Central to trauma recovery is working with both the body and the mind as part of the healing process.
I also recognise and work sensitively with the wider social and cultural factors that contribute to human distress, including oppression, discrimination, social injustice, colonialism, and generational trauma.
I offer a compassionate, relational, and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever may be troubling you. I also offer walk-and-talk therapy (near my N6 offices), ecotherapy, meditation, and mindfulness-based approaches where these feel supportive and appropriate for you.
