Eli Segal

Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist

Therapy In-Person or Online £70

I’m a psychotherapist and counsellor registered with the British
Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with a focus on
supporting children and adolescents through a wide range of emotional
and mental health challenges. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate,
meeting the necessary standards to work safely and responsibly with
children and young people.

With nearly 10 years of experience in education, including roles as a
learning support assistant, teacher, and special education teacher. I
bring a deep understanding of the school environment and the emotional
pressures young people face today. This background informs my
therapeutic work, especially in helping children express themselves and
feel understood.

My approach to therapy is centred on providing a safe, non-judgemental,
and empathetic space where children and adolescents can explore and
express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.
Sessions are tailored to each individual, drawing upon a range of
techniques including art, play, and mindfulness. Working collaboratively,
young people are encouraged to make their own choices, helping them
feel in control of their own emotional wellbeing.
Having worked closely with neurodivergent clients, including those with
autism and ADHD, I’m committed to offering a therapeutic environment
where every young person feels safe, heard, and understood.
Where appropriate, I offer regular review sessions with parents or
caregivers. These are a chance to check in, share concerns, and reflect
on progress.

Outside of work, my hobbies include walking in the British countryside
and a love for music — especially playing the piano and singing.
