Psychotherapist
Therapy In-Person or Online £75
I’m Guy Harries, an integrative psychotherapist offering a warm, grounded and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. I believe therapy works best when you feel accepted and free to be yourself, without pressure or judgement. My aim is to create an environment where all parts of your experience can be met with curiosity and compassion.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from person-centred, psychodynamic and relational approaches. This means our work can be flexible, responsive and shaped around what you need at any given moment. Some people come wanting to understand how their past affects their present. Others want a place to navigate current challenges or reconnect with a sense of direction and possibility. Wherever you are, I’ll meet you there.
I have supported people facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, bereavement, trauma, low self-esteem, creative blocks and periods of major transition. I also work with clients exploring questions of identity, belonging and self-acceptance. My practice is fully inclusive, and I strive to offer an affirming therapeutic space for LGBTQ+ individuals and those who are neurodivergent. Feeling understood for who you are, not who you think you ‘should’ be, is at the heart of my approach.
Before training as a therapist, I spent over 20 years working in music and arts education, and I hold a PhD in Music from the University of London. This background often enriches my therapeutic work. I’m attentive to the subtleties of expression, the creative ways we communicate and the deep connection between emotional life and the stories we tell. Many people find this grounding and supportive, especially when words feel complicated or not quite enough.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in Integrative Counselling from the University of Westminster and am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
People often come to therapy during moments of difficulty or uncertainty, but you don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. You might simply want a space to understand yourself more fully, to develop healthier patterns or to reconnect with what feels meaningful. Whatever brings you, we can explore it together gently, collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you.
Sessions are available in English and Hebrew.
