Psychotherapist & Trainee Psychologist & Counsellor

Therapy In-Person or Online £120

Welcome, I am Jill, a fully qualified psychotherapist as well as a counselling psychologist in training. I have experience of working with adults of all ages, adolescents and young people. I work with individuals, couples and families.
I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and I also work with members of the adoption triad; adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents. I have worked in the NHS Community Health Services, Charitable organisations and in schools.

I have experience working with a range of challenging issues and psychological difficulties including anxiety, depression, loss, relationship issues, attachment problems, trauma, life transitions, identity and low self-esteem. My approach to therapy is collaborative with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. I endeavour to create a safe, non-judgemental space in which you can explore your experiences and feelings with the aim of making positive changes that will benefit you in your current and future life.

Therapy will be tailored to your individual needs. I work integratively using a range of modalities including person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapies, compassion-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and existentialism.

I have studied developmental psychology; I have a particular interest in Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I have conducted research on motherhood, parents’ experiences of adolescent individuation, and adoption. These are all key areas of interest in my practice.

If you would like more information, please feel free to get in touch with me for a 20-minute free initial consultation where we can discuss your therapy needs.

I am registered with WPA and Vitality assurance companies.
