Integrative Behavioural Therapist & Counsellor (Final Year Trainee)
I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly and start to make sense of what’s going on for you. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and genuine – when you feel heard, supported, and gently encouraged to look at things from new perspectives.
My approach combines empathy and understanding with practical tools for change. Alongside person-centred and attachment theory, I draw on behavioural models such as Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP). These approaches share a simple idea: that meaningful change happens when we become more aware of our thoughts and emotions, learn to accept our experiences rather than fight them, and build stronger connections – both with ourselves and others.
Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working across business, technology and creative roles. Those experiences taught me how people adapt, grow and search for meaning in their work and lives. My own journey has been about finding clarity, compassion and purpose – values that now shape my work with clients.
I’ve gained extensive experience through a charity offering affordable therapy to people from diverse backgrounds, working with challenges including anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I also have experience around neurodiversity, perfectionism and identity. I believe therapy should always adapt to the individual, not the other way around.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. We work at your pace, exploring what matters most to you and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My aim isn’t to “fix” you, but to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and a greater sense of freedom in how you live.
