Integrative Psychotherapist | Neurodiversity-Informed | Child, Adolescent & Adult Therapy
In-Person & Online Therapy in Golders Green – £120
With over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I’ve learned that one of the most powerful catalysts for healing is simply being seen. Whether I’m working with children, adolescents, or adults, my approach centres on recognising each client’s individuality and supporting them with warmth, empathy, and a non-judgmental space to explore their experiences.
In recent years, much of my practice has focused on supporting neurodivergent clients many of whom come to therapy overwhelmed, misunderstood, or struggling without a formal diagnosis. I regularly work with individuals who experience emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, sensory sensitivities, rigid thinking patterns, and rejection sensitivity. These challenges are often intensified when people feel they must mask or suppress their true selves to function in the world.
Through further training in neurodiversity and ongoing clinical work, I’ve developed a compassionate and flexible therapeutic approach. I integrate tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with my psychodynamic roots to help clients better understand their values, strengths, and emotional responses. Together, we explore which behaviours move them closer to the life they want—and which ones may be holding them back.
Whether it’s a teenager navigating social pressures, a child struggling with loss or identity, or an adult managing career stress and family dynamics, I tailor my work to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth. My sessions are collaborative and creative, and I draw on a range of therapeutic tools including sand tray, art-based techniques, and narrative work.
I also offer consultations for parents who need guidance around their child’s emotional or behavioural challenges. These include issues such as anxiety, phobias, family separation, and self-esteem struggles.
Qualifications & Professional Background
Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychodynamic Counselling
Diploma in Counselling Skills London Metropolitan University
Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
My journey began at Hackney Bereavement Centre, supporting clients through grief and traumatic loss. From there, I worked with Place2Be, delivering therapy to primary-aged children using creative and play-based methods. I later led a large-scale therapeutic project at Kids Company, overseeing therapy provision, supervising students, and delivering group therapy for young people affected by neglect, bereavement, and addiction in the family system.
In addition to clinical practice, I’ve developed and delivered mental health training workshops for educators through PACT Creative, including the REACH programme (React with Compassion and Care), which focuses on emotional wellbeing in schools.
Alongside running a busy private practice and being a mother of five, I continue to feel passionate about making therapy an accessible and transformative experience for all ages.
