Specialist Occupational Therapist
Supporting Children, Young People & Families | Golders Green
With over 20 years of experience, I am a passionate and highly skilled Occupational Therapist specialising in the mental health and neurodevelopmental needs of children and young people.
Originally from Greece, I moved to the UK in 2002 after receiving a scholarship to complete an MSc in Paediatric Occupational Therapy at the University of East London. Since qualifying in 1999, I’ve worked across a range of settings in both Greece and the UK—including within the NHS, where I supported young people facing complex emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges. I’ve also led community mental health teams and headed an independent school for pupils excluded from mainstream education.
In 2020, I founded my own specialist service with a clear mission: to help children and adolescents with Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, learning difficulties, and mental health needs build confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
I bring a strengths-based approach to therapy—focusing not on what’s missing, but on what’s possible. I aim to help each young person feel empowered and capable in their everyday life, through interventions tailored to their unique needs.
I am trained in and draw from:
Sensory Integration (Basic Level)
ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)
MOHO (Model of Human Occupation)
Canadian Model of Occupational Performance
KAWA Model (Mental Health Recovery)
RAID (Positive Behaviour Support)
Model of Creative Ability
A range of standardised assessments for learning and developmental needs
I now bring this experience and passion to North London Therapy Practice in Golders Green, offering a compassionate and collaborative space for children, teenagers, and families to grow, heal, and thrive.
