Therapist & Counsellor

Therapy Sessions £60

I am glad you are here. I offer a supportive and reflective space where we can explore what may be going on for you, including how past experiences might be influencing the present.

I offer psychodynamic counselling, which means I work with young adults and individuals to explore how past experiences and relationships may be shaping how they feel, think, and relate in the present. I believe that developing understanding and awareness of patterns — often ones outside our immediate awareness — can support meaningful and lasting change.

I have extensive experience working with autistic and other neurodivergent young adults, having spent the first twenty years of my career working in South East Asia. This has deeply shaped my understanding of neurodiversity, identity, communication, and the importance of cultural and social context in emotional wellbeing. My approach is affirming, respectful, and attuned to individual differences.

I also have experience working with young adults and individuals around identity, confidence, social anxiety, coping with pressure, and concerns about goals, direction, and expectations, particularly during times of transition or uncertainty.

During my counselling training, I worked briefly within the NHS, gaining experience of working within structured services and supporting clients presenting with a wide range of difficulties. This has informed my careful, ethical, and containing approach to therapeutic work.

I have experience working with neurodiversity, cultural difference, and global contexts, and I am able to work multilingually. I value the role language plays in how we understand ourselves and tell our stories, and I believe that your story matters — in every language you carry.

I currently work with LGBTQ+ clients, including through my work at Survivors UK, where I provide counselling to non-binary and male survivors of sexual violence. I work at your pace and aim to offer a supportive, inclusive, and confidential space where you feel respected and understood.

If you are considering counselling, I offer a 50-minute initial assessment session where we can begin to understand what has brought you to therapy and whether working together feels right for you. This session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to think together about how therapy might support you as you begin your therapeutic journey.
