Psychotherapist & CBT Therapist

In-Person or Online Therapy sessions £95 Couples In-Person or Online £115 (75 minutes)

I am an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical expertise, including 15 years as a Senior Psychotherapist within a prominent NHS mental health service in London. Throughout my career, I've supported individuals and couples facing depression, anxiety, and various emotional challenges, guiding them towards meaningful and lasting positive changes. Additionally, I have extensive experience supervising and managing therapeutic teams, maintaining high standards of care and professional excellence.

My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based model focused on understanding the intricate relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. By identifying and addressing unhelpful patterns, CBT empowers individuals to develop effective coping strategies and enhance their emotional resilience. However, I strongly believe therapy must be tailored to each person's unique situation. I am committed to providing an approachable, genuine, and flexible therapeutic environment where my clients feel heard, supported, and truly understood.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative space that encourages openness and exploration of personal challenges. Whether clients seek short-term solutions or deeper, longer-term self-discovery, I adjust my therapeutic methods to align with their personal goals and needs.

Alongside individual therapy, I have a specialist interest in working with couples and am specifically trained in Couple Therapy for Depression. This evidence-based approach addresses the complex interplay between relationship dynamics and emotional health, particularly when depression impacts one or both partners. As a qualified supervisor in Couples Therapy for Depression, I also support fellow therapists in refining their skills in this relationship-focused practice.
