**Compassionate and Tailored Support for Your Unique Journey**
I am dedicated to making quality counselling and psychotherapy accessible to everyone. To support those on benefits or low incomes, as well as trainees in their initial stages of training, I offer reduced fees.

As a Humanistic Counsellor and Psychotherapist, my practice is grounded in a client-cantered approach that recognizes and honours the individuality of each client. I believe in viewing the client as a whole person, which allows for a deeper understanding of their unique experiences and needs.

With over 20 years of experience in private practice in North London, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward better mental health. My professional background includes work in an NHS surgery and various mental health charities and also in Foster Homes with looked after children, where I have had the privilege of assisting those facing a wide range of challenges, from mild stress to more severe mental health issues.

I believe that every person has the potential to achieve stability and lead a more fulfilling life. Together, we can explore your unique experiences and develop tailored strategies to help you nurture your well-being. My approach is compassionate and understanding, providing a safe space for you to express yourself and work towards your goals.

Let’s embark on this journey together toward a brighter and more empowered future.

During our initial assessment session, I collaborate closely with you to determine the most suitable therapeutic approach. I understand that no single model fits all, and I'm committed to adapting my methods to ensure they serve you effectively. If we agree on a way of working together and it no longer meets your needs, I will be open to reassessing and exploring new strategies.

In my work with children and adolescents, I integrate innovative techniques such as Sand Tray Therapy, Art Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for children and adolescents. I also provide short-term therapy for children and young people in crisis, ensuring a safe space for containment and risk management until they can access support through the NHS. My goal is to facilitate profound healing and transformation, offering both long and short-term therapy sessions that promote growth and resilience.

I also work as clinical supervisor, supporting counselling and psychotherapy trainees and fully qualified professionals in their work with clients.

Together, we can embark on a journey of healing, change, and empowerment. I look forward to supporting you in this meaningful process.

My goal is to facilitate healing and growth, enabling clients to navigate their challenges and foster deeper connections.

Together, we can embark on a transformative journey towards self-discovery, resilience, and relational harmony.

**Getting Started with Therapy**
Following our initial email exchange, I kindly ask clients to complete an online assessment form to return before our first appointment. This step allows me to gain a deeper understanding of your background and expectations. Additionally, I will provide you with information about my cancellation policy to ensure clarity from the start.

If you would like to have a conversation before scheduling your first session, I offer a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation. We can arrange this via email at a mutually convenient time, allowing you to ask any questions and learn more about my approach.

Once we have scheduled your first session, I understand that it’s completely normal to feel a bit nervous or uncertain if you're new to counselling. Rest assured, building a strong rapport is a priority for me, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard and understood. As our therapeutic relationship develops, you will likely find yourself becoming more at ease.

After our first session, you will have time to reflect and decide whether you would like to embark on your counselling journey with me.
During this initial session, we will focus on clarifying your therapy goals and expectations, as well as discussing the duration of therapy. I offer flexible options, including short-term counselling (6 to 8 sessions), longer-term therapy, and open-ended sessions where we collaboratively determine the right time to conclude our work together.

I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
