Psychotherapist

Therapy In-Person or Online £75

Hi, I’m Yehuda Samet, a psychotherapist. I believe therapy should feel like a genuinely safe and supportive space somewhere you do not have to perform, have all the answers, or worry about being judged. Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you are used to carrying things on your own, feeling misunderstood, or finding it difficult to put your inner experience into words. My first priority is to get to know you as a person and to understand your experience at your own pace.

I see therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than trying to “fix” you, I aim to help you make sense of what may be happening emotionally, relationally, and internally, while supporting you in developing a deeper connection with yourself and others. I believe that meaningful change often begins with feeling heard, understood, and emotionally safe enough to explore difficult experiences honestly.

My approach is highly individualised. While I have trained in and draw from a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model of therapy. Every person’s story, relationships, and struggles are unique. Together, we can explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, understand how past experiences may still be affecting you in the present, and create space for greater clarity, self-awareness, and emotional freedom.

Life is meant to have a sense of flow, but difficult experiences, trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, loss, or relationship struggles can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and from the life we want to live. Sometimes people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally numb, lost, or unable to understand why they keep repeating certain patterns. At other times, there may not be a clear reason only a sense that something does not feel right.

Therapy with me offers a space to slow down, reflect, and explore these experiences safely. My aim is to help you feel more grounded, more emotionally connected, and more able to live in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

Way of Working
I work in an integrative, relational, attachment-informed, and trauma-informed way. This means I tailor therapy to the individual needs of each client, drawing from a range of approaches including humanistic counselling, psychodynamic-informed thinking, CBT-informed practice, and family systems perspectives.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself. I aim to create a collaborative and emotionally safe environment where clients can explore patterns, relationships, emotions, and experiences with openness and curiosity. Through this process, therapy can support deeper self-understanding, emotional growth, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of authenticity and connection.
